How to Appear Offline in LoL

Steps to Appear Offline Using Deceive:

3. Launch League of Legends through Deceive by either double-clicking the Deceive icon or dragging it into the LoL launcher.
4. Once League is open, you should now appear as offline to everyone on your friends list.

• Deceive works by disconnecting you from Riot's chat service while still allowing you to play the game.

2 - the CMD Method
 

• The Command Prompt (CMD) method involves manually blocking the League of Legends chat server using your computer's firewall settings. This will make you appear offline to friends, while still allowing you to queue for games and play normally.
   

• Steps to Appear Offline Using CMD:
   

• Open Command Prompt as an administrator. You can do this by typing cmd in your Windows search bar, right-clicking on the result, and selecting Run as administrator.
• In the Command Prompt, enter the following command to block LoL’s chat server:

• netsh advfirewall firewall add rule name="lolchat" dir=out remoteip=104.160.136.3 protocol=TCP action=block

• This blocks the League of Legends chat server IP address.
• Press Enter. You should now be able to play LoL without appearing online to your friends list.
• If you want to undo this and appear online again, use the following command in the same Command Prompt window:

• netsh advfirewall firewall delete rule name="lolchat"

This command will remove the block and reconnect you to the chat server, making you visible to your friends again.
